Dear Sanatani,
Thank you for registering to the Sanatana Dharma Summer Camp.
“In religion, India is the only millionaire… the one land that all men desire to see…” — Mark Twain

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation and Dharma Jagruthi Foundation proudly launched the Sanatana Summer Camp on May 25th 2025, bringing youth and adults together to explore the depth and richness of Sanatana Dharma.

The first session offered a broad overview of Hinduism:
>> Definition of a Hindu (as per the Supreme Court)
>> Unique characteristics of Hinduism
>> Core beliefs and distinctions from other religions
>> Scientific contributions of ancient Rishis
>> Significance of temples and Henotheism
>> Life’s four goals (Purusharthas) and four spiritual paths (Yogas)
>> Key Samskaras and traditions across a Hindu’s life

The session was attended by about 25 participants, including both youth and parents. In his opening remarks, Dr. Prakasarao Velagapudi emphasized the importance of passing on our heritage:

“There is no formal system to transmit our vast knowledge of Sanatana Dharma to the next generation. Our scriptures—Vedas, Upanishads, Vedangas, and more—are timeless. Bharat is not just a land, but a Dharma Bhumi,Karma Bhumi, and Moksha Bhumi. It’s our duty to immerse in this treasure, understand its value, and proudly share it with our children.”

He also reminded attendees that Hinduism is deeply scientific, rational, and appreciated by Nobel laureates, global leaders, CEOs of major firms, and thinkers worldwide. The teachings of Lord Krishna, the legacy of Maha Rishis, and the dharmic paths exemplified by the Pandavas remain relevant and transformative today.

Let’s inspire the next generation to connect with their roots—not out of obligation, but from a place of pride, understanding, and clarity.

With Gratitude,
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation & Dharma Jagruthi Foundation
